The Chill Room

From KillRadio.org, the Chill Room (via Podomatic) is a weekly program of audio experimentation by DJ Bennett. I've been listening for a few weeks and have been quite impressed with the range of materials and level of production that appear in the 75 minute podcasts provide through Radio4All.net.

The Chill Room Archives (via Radio4All) are available as download or subscription as a podcast.

At tonight's lesson, in addition to hearing your ideas about the radio station, I'd like to discuss upcoming projects. As mentioned Wednesday, the Hitotoki interpretations will be due on Monday, June 8.

In an earlier blog post, I linked to an excerpt of a past episode of This American Life by Luke Burbank. This 13 minute audio feature will be used for our Critical Listening assignment. Please listen to the story a couple of times and fill out the log sheet that will be distributed in class. I would like for these to be turned in on Wednesday, June 10.

Note that there will be no class on Friday, June 12. The following Monday, June 15 will be the due date for your VoxPop project. Details will be provided in class this evening.
